Our Educational Outreach Program Mission Statement:

This club's educational outreach program strives to establish an engaging, hands-on learning experience that:

• Sparks curiosity and deepens interest in gems, minerals, and geology,
• Promotes environmental awareness and conservation efforts,
• Fosters a lasting love for earth sciences among individuals of all ages,
• Expands the club’s reach by engaging parents, families, and local communities, and
• Grows membership through active participation and educational opportunities.

Target Audiences:

• Community Members,
• Public Schools (Elementary to High School),
• Public Libraries,
• Scouting Clubs, and
• Local Youth and Environmental Groups.

• Rock & Mineral Exploration" Workshop,
• Digging for Earth’s Treasures" (Scouts and Youth Groups),
• Building a Gem and Mineral Collection,
• Virtual Field Trip or Virtual Hands-on Exploration,
• Pop-up Mineral Museum(s),
• Interactive Posters for Libraries and Schools,
• Collaborations with Schools and Libraries,
• School-Based Workshops.

Library Programs:

• Library Reading Programs (gem and lapidary arts),
• Rock & Mineral Exploration" Workshop,
