Welcome

Resources

We are a State of Florida nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring education and fostering a deeper appreciation for the worlds of minerals, fossils, archaeology, geology, and the lapidary arts. Our mission is to offer enriching opportunities through rock hounding field trips, specimen exchanges, engaging discussions, and exciting exhibitions, all designed to deepen knowledge and appreciation for these natural wonders.

We are captivated by the beauty, diversity, and intricate details of minerals, gems, and rocks. Many of our members transform these raw materials into stunning works of art. We explore the fascinating world of gemstones through techniques such as cutting, polishing, faceting, cabochon cutting, and carving. Our club offers hands-on lessons in these areas, alongside metalworking techniques like fabrication, casting, and wire wrapping.

Whether you are an experienced jeweler or a curious beginner, we welcome you to join us! Our meetings feature presentations by industry professionals, as well as instructional programs on various jewelry-making techniques. We organize field trips, sales, and events, and offer a fully equipped workshop where members can learn or refine skills like stone cutting and faceting. Additionally, our library provides access to a wide range of resources on geology and jewelry making, available for borrowing.

Join us in exploring the fascinating world of gemstones and minerals, where learning, creativity, and community come together!
